How to Watch On-Demand Sports with Eurosport

DISCLAIMER: This article is NOT sponsored.

If you are into any sport really, including motorsport, the Eurosport subscription scheme is a nice deal. €6.99 a month is pretty good. After all you get hours of sport every day. And after having tried out the Eurosport video play, it’s all readily accessible. It’s all streamlined. It’s good. But If you too want to know how to watch on-demand sports with Eurosport, here is the step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Subscribe

First off, you need to buy the subscription of course. It costs €6.99 a month. You can do this here! The cool and accessible thing about Eurosport subscriptions is the payment options: You can either pay using Credit/Debit Card or PayPal. Honestly, nowadays offering at least these 3 options is a given. After inserting all your details and your payment information, Eurosport will automatically take the first months payment. If that successfully goes through, you can instantly start watching all your favourite sports!

WATCH OUT: Eurosport turns on automatic renewal by default. If you do not wish to renew your subscription automatically, you need to cancel your it in your account settings.

Step 2: Enjoy!

Basically you can, at this point in time, already view all content on Eurosport. However, there are 2 websites you now have access to.

  1. eurosport.com
  2. eurosportplayer.com

Using your originally selected email address and password you can watch content on both these websites. I would definitely suggest using the EurosportPLAYER website though. The simple reason for that is: eurosport.com does NOT offer a full database of on-demand videos.

On the eurosportplayer.com website however, you can watch every live and recent on-demand event. For example, I want to watch Formula E. At the time of writing (9th of May, 2022), I can watch back as far as the 10th of April 2021 race of Rome. Football I could watch back until the 3rd of October, 2021.

In this regard, Eurosport might be a good solution if you wanna put off watching your sports event of choice until a few weeks later, but not eternally.

If you want to watch sports from years gone by, you unfortunately need to find other ways.

Navigating eurosportplayer.com

Navigation is quite simple.

On the home page, you can see what is currently live on the different Eurosport channels. You can tune into those or watch on-demand events.

For on-demand, your best choice is to click on the top-left button “All Sports”. Afterwards a selection will open where you can select the sport you are interested in. If your selected sport is currently live, you see the video player on top of the page. After which there is a banner with upcoming events of the sport. This includes information on when to watch the given event. Below that, you can scroll through past events on demand. There you can look through to find whatever past event you want to watch.

You just need to click on the replay button and the video opens. Easy as pie.
